För att välja en sko med rätt dropp för just dig så bör du tänka på följande: - Är du en löpare som landar på hälen bör du välja en sko med lite högre dropp, detta gör att du får bra med dämpning vid fotisättningen och får hjälp med "rullningen" genom steget. - Är du en löpare som vill lära dig att landa längre fram på foten men idag är en hällöpare är det vettigt att välja en sko med låg eller mellan dropp. - Är du idag en löpare som springer på framfoten eller om du vill ha en sko som ett träningsredskap för att lära dig att landa längre fram på foten bör du välja en sko med låg eller inget dropp.
- Ha gärna minst två par skor att växla med. Då får skorna vila lite längre mellan passen och håller längre. - Tvätta ALDRIG dina löparskor i tvättmaskinen. Då kan limmet släppa och skorna gå sönder. - Tänk på att lättare (snabbare) skor är mer ömtåliga. Använd till exempel inte en tävlingssko som trailsko. - Låt gärna dina skor självtorka med lite pappper inuti. Använd inte torktumlare eller torkskåp. - Om du måste tvätta av skorna. Skölj försiktigt med ljummet vatten. Behöver du få rent tyget i ovandelen kan du stoppa in duschmunstycket i skon och "trycka" ut smutsen.
